We here at The Chain Nerd do our own pixel art. While many of our designs are based off established video game spritework, these don't necessarily translate perfectly into the limited color palette of anodized aluminum.

Erin and August spent a combined 8+ years working on developing pixel art patterning specifically for chainmail inlays. Not just the patterning, but the execution, turning pattern into metal art. As such, we like to share our expertise to beginner and expert chaimmailler alike. Many professional chainmail jewelry designers have no idea where to begin with making an inlay, and the beginner certainly will have even less experience.

WE REMOVE THE GUESSWORK!

We'll consult with you on your design, the final dimensions, materials, color palette, and we only charge when design work actually starts. You won't pay a cent until you and we are certain your project will work! All our design services include:

• PDF digital files of your design
• A PDF instruction on how to follow the pattern and create your inlay
• Your estimated final ring count and project dimensions
• A materials list, telling you exactly what size, colors, and amounts of rings to order (we also include an estimate on price of materials, where we can)
• Our full support via email or message, should you have any questions

We can also modify patterns to work for perler beads, cross stitch (with DMC colors palettes) and anything else a pixel/grid setup would work for!
